Ms. Jane Crawford is a Profit Center Specialist providing expertise to medical practices and medical spas to optimize revenues. Ms. Crawford is known in the Medical and Skin Care profession as America’s Foremost Med-Spa Expert. Her entrepreneurial adventure began in the late 1980s when she opened the first Med-Spa in the United States, at the same time beginning work on one of the first hospital programs.
Ms. Crawford is a founding member of the International Medical Spa Association. She serves on the Education Faculty of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Advisory Board for the South Carolina Cosmetology Association, and is a licensed instructor through the University of South Carolina. An expert on the key ingredients for success, Ms. Crawford’s experience includes mastery of the unique nuances of day-to-day operations that optimize profitability. In addition to medical practices, her clients consist of physicians featured on television's Extreme Make-Over, Dateline, and 20/20, as well as staff at high-profile day and destination spas in the United States.
Ms. Crawford is co-owner of a skin care clinic and laser center in Greenville, South Carolina. She consults with physicians and administrators interested in Medical Spa or integrated center concepts to increase profitability. Ms. Crawford provides training for nurses and estheticians, and conducts seminars for physicians, practice administrators, and patient coordinators across the United States. In addition, Ms. Crawford has developed a private label, clinically based, botanical product line.
An active freelance writer, Jane frequently contributes articles to skin care and medical industry publications such as Skin Inc., Medesthetics, Spa Canada, and IS Marketing. Ms. Crawford is also a contributing author of the Cosmetology and Esthetic Industry text book Milady.
